Manifesto

Today we are going to change the world.
We are the generation that can actually do it, so why aren’t you standing yet? Let’s climb to the top of a chair or a desk and let’s scream!

I want education, not manipulation! – say it as loud as you can.
I want life experience, not the sight of a dead classroom! – make sure someone hears you.
I want to be taken seriously and to matter to the world! Someone in the other side of the planet wants the same as you and if you have the power to say it, then you have the power to save someone!

We don't want money to be the most important thing in our lives and we don't want to build a life around it. We want the centre of the world to be art, colour and personality! We want to scream our individualities and we want to be noticed and not diminished by 'grown ups'. We want to be forever young and we will be forever young because we're never going to settle for mediocre happiness! - there's no such thing as a midterm. There's only all or nothing and we either win or lose.

We want adrenaline; we want to feel something. And that’s why we are known as reckless, imprudent, stupid, bad decisions’ makers.
But we actually like it. We are happy with all the anger, sadness and frustration that comes into our lives. We are actually happy being a mess: «We are a mess, we are failures and we love it».

So, let’s change the world. Let’s, for once, use words as a revolution weapon and let’s fight against injustice, ignorance, normality. Let’s show the world who teenagers actually are. Let’s put on a big show so everyone can see how we see the world. Let’s put artists on the stand. Let’s give importance to them because they’re the ones who express what we all feel. Let’s rule the world as we know it should be ruled and let’s sing, dance, paint, write all our ideas. Then, let’s share them around the planet and let’s join every teen we can to our cause.

This is a revolution.
The age’s revolution.

Are you with me? So do something you’ve always wanted to do but someone stopped you from doing it. Do something that shows who you are and what you believe in, even if that shocks people. Let your true personality come out and let it guide your path. Believe in your dreams because the best thing I’ve ever done was to believe in mine. Make your dreams come true because that’s the only thing that will make you truly happy. Don’t live in this world for too long – imagine, travel, create a whole new world, fantastic or not, but do not stay in this world for too long. It will drive you crazy.
But if you are already crazy, then let everyone know that and do something you want with it.

Live. Revolt. Express your true feeling and thoughts through art.
And most of all, be happy and don’t hide it.

I am with you.

Fall Out Of Love

Today I was asked a really interesting question:

Why do you think people fall out of love?

I had like five seconds to think about what my answer was going to be and I decided for "I think if people fall out of love is because they didn't actually fall in love in the first place.” And I spent the rest of the day thinking about that question and my answer.
So, did I ever fall out of love?
Did I ever fall in love?
I don’t know. But love seems so delicate, fragile and beautiful. It’s a powerful, dangerous and lasting feeling and that’s the only love we should know. Love is kind and it doesn’t involve anger or sadness. Unfortunately, this is not the only love we know - «We accept the love we think we deserve», Stephen Chbosky wrote; and he demonstrated it in The Perks of Being a Wallflower in a unique way. We often forget what love is and what love should and shouldn’t be about. And that’s the worst thing we could ever forget because love is just the pink part of the rose, not the thorns.

The question is: does love have an ending? Or is it eternal?
Some people say that the first true love is forever and that we can never forget about it. We can even be with other people after that but does that count as love? Or love is just the first one?
Other people say that’s bullshit and that love is the last one we find – the one we keep for ‘the rest of our days’.
What is love, then? Is it the first? The last? One in the middle?

And whatever the answer to this question is, can true love ever end?
I understand that sometimes people get sick of other people when they spend too much time together and that some flaws are only possible to notice after spending a lot of time with the same person. But what does this mean? Is this the end of hope?

Is this the end of love?
Can we hate the person we love?
Can love be so dangerous that it can lead us to hate that person?

I would really like to have an answer for this problem but I’m just seventeen and I have none experience in this world. I have none experience in love.

So what can you tell me about it? Because as much as I like to observe people, I can hardly understand what they think about certain subjects. And this is one of those subjects. I can’t know what people think about love and people don’t usually like to talk about it because it’s a hard and confusing subject.

I now have a new goal.
To know what the world thinks about love and its limit. To understand what love really is because for it to happen there has to be at least two people thinking the same way. For love to happen there has to be two people talking, smiling, observing and finding out together if it is possible to fall out of love.

If people fall out of love is because they didn’t actually fall in love in the first place.
Do you agree?

I listen to you.
